THE GENTLEMEN -A Bunch Of Junk (Unreleased Acetate)

There were, and probably still are,a slew of bands known as the Gentlemen. This is one of them. They sound like some amateurish cover band, trying to break into the garage scene,in the mid to late 60's.Their version of ,"Hang On Sloopy"(which I recently found to be slang for a turd which won't detatch from it's exit tunnel),must be heard to be believed. The vocals are horrible,as in great, the bass sounds beautifully untuned, and the beat is slightly off-kilter.Then to follow up with an accordian led version of ,"Mack The Knife",is just ridiculous. The tune on the other side, does not appear to be the same band.A clue may be written on the sleeve I got the record in(from pal,Ralph Tarantino, owner of Ft. Myer's Record Trader) It reads ,:"Joe Hurley Remote (Stereo)".Anyone with a clue about this recording, get with me,thanks!Enjoy this extremely rare, unreleased acetate recording!
